How to Split Orders in VESYL

The how and why of splitting orders in VESYL.

Order splitting lets you divide a single order into multiple shipments, which is useful when items need to be sent separately or in different packages. VESYL makes splitting orders easy and intuitive.


Step-by-Step: How to Split an Order

  1. Navigate to the Orders Page
    Find the order you want to split in your orders list.

  2. Click Edit on the Order
    Open the order details by clicking the Edit button.

  3. Edit the Products Section
    Scroll down to the Products section and click Edit.

  4. Click Split
    Select the Split option to begin dividing the order.

  5. Add Additional Orders
    Click Add to create a new split order. You can add as many split orders as needed.

  6. Adjust Line Item Quantities
    For each product line, use the plus (+) and minus (–) buttons to allocate quantities between the original order and the new split orders.

  7. Confirm the Split
    Once you’ve allocated items to each order as desired, click Confirm at the bottom right to finalize the split.

What Happens After Splitting?

  • Your original order will be split into multiple orders, each representing a separate shipment.

  • All split orders will appear individually on the Orders Page for easy tracking and management.

Why Use Order Splitting?

  • Send items that require different packaging or shipping methods separately.

  • Manage inventory and fulfillment more flexibly.

  • Improve customer satisfaction by shipping partial orders sooner if needed.
