How to Add & Manage Order Tags in VESYL

How to add current and create new tags on an order

Updated this week

Order tags are a great way to organize and filter orders inside VESYL. Whether they’re imported automatically or added manually, tags help your team streamline fulfillment and quickly identify orders that need attention.

Do order tags import from my ecommerce store?

Yes. VESYL automatically imports any tags that exist on orders from your connected ecommerce platform (like Shopify, WooCommerce, or others). These tags are viewable and searchable inside VESYL.

How to manually add or edit tags in VESYL

If you need to create or apply tags manually:

  1. Go to the Orders tab.

  2. Find the order you want to tag and click Edit (on the right-hand side).

  3. In the side drawer, scroll down and click Options.

  4. Under Tags, you'll see:

    • A list of current tags on the order.

    • A dropdown to select existing tags.

    • A text field to create a new tag—just type it in and hit Enter.

  5. Click Save to apply changes.

Once created, new tags will be saved in your account and available to use on future orders.

How do tags help with order management?

VESYL’s order tags support better filtering, batch actions, and visibility across your fulfillment process. Use them to:

  • Flag VIP or high-priority orders

  • Identify international shipments

  • Track orders needing manual review

  • Organize orders by promotion or campaign

  • Batch orders for specific workflows

You can use filters in the Orders view to sort by tags and take bulk actions like printing labels, batching, or fulfilling orders.
