  2. Pin & Unpin Columns

    • Choose “Pin left” or “Pin right” to lock essential columns in place.

    • Unpin them to move or hide less-used columns and create a focused view.

The drop down menu from the 3 lines showing pin column, and the options "no pin, pin left or pin right".

  3. Resize & Autosize Columns

    • Drag column edges manually, or select “Autosize column” to fit content instantly.

  4. Reset Layout

    • To revert to default settings, choose “Reset columns” to clear any customizations.

Using Filters Effectively

  • Click the filter icon in a column header to open search-based filters.

  • Use operators like CONTAINS, EQUALS, or STARTS WITH to narrow your results:

    • Example: “Service CONTAINS Ground” filters shipments using ground delivery.

This allows you to quickly pinpoint specific shipments by service type, carrier, date, warehouse, destination, and more.

Beyond Filtering: Full Shipping Management Flow

Here’s how the Shipment page integrates into VESYL’s complete shipping suite:

  • Centralized Dashboard
View and act on shipments—whether you’re editing, creating returns, or reshipping—from a single location.

  • Customized Views & Filters
Tailor layouts and filters to your needs—easily switch between views like “Domestic,” “Undelivered,” or any custom one you create.

  • Quick Actions at Your Fingertips
Initiate returns or reships in just a few clicks via dropdown actions.

Pro Tips for Shipping Workflow Efficiency

  1. Design Role-Based Views
Customize dashboard views for different roles—e.g., one view for returns and another for outbound shipments.

  2. Save & Reuse Filter Sets
Create presets like “Ground Only,” “International Destinations,” or “High-Value Items” for quick access.

  3. Use Column Pins to Stay Focused
Pin key columns—like Shipment ID, Service, Status—to stay aligned, even while browsing wide tables.

  4. Autosize for Visibility
Use autosize or manual resize for column clarity, especially helpful for long text in Address or Notes fields.

  5. Reset Before a Big Batch
Before bulk operations (like batch shipping or bulk return creation), reset columns to ensure full visibility and prevent oversight.
