We distinguish between Shipping Method and Shipping Service. A Shipping Method is what your customers select at checkout on your Ecommerce Store checkout page. This could be Free Shipping, 2 Day Shipping or Standard Shipping as examples or could simply be the name of the service such as UPS Ground. This can be found on the Ship Method column on the Orders page. These are often use in Automation Rules to map orders to a specific service or rate shop

Shipping Service on the other hand is the service you are using to ship the package such as USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground
