Shipping Hazardous Materials with USPS

While most items can be shipped with no issues, some require careful considerations as they are deemed "hazardous". These items can often require special labeling and packing.

For Shipping Hazardous Materials with USPS

While USPS does not charge extra for hazardous items, they must be marked and packaged appropriately using the guidelines for shipping Hazardous Materials from Publication 52. Please see the list of Prohibited and Restricted items when shipping Domestically and Internationally. Some common items that are deemed hazardous include:
